Letters are pin-mounted using metal standoffs (typically stainless steel studs) that hold each letter 1/4" to 1" off the wall surface, creating a shadow effect that adds depth. We drill precise mounting holes in the wall, insert anchors appropriate for the wall material (drywall, concrete, brick, glass), and secure each letter individually. For glass-mounted installations, we use through-glass standoffs or adhesive-backed studs depending on the glass thickness.
Yes. For outdoor applications, we use weather-resistant materials like aluminum, stainless steel, or UV-stabilized acrylic with marine-grade mounting hardware. Outdoor letters are sealed against moisture intrusion and rated for years of sun, rain, and temperature cycling. PVC is suitable for covered outdoor areas but not recommended for direct-sun exterior use. We specify the right material based on your exposure conditions.
