If you're searching for vehicle wrap pricing, you've probably found answers ranging from "$1,500" to "$10,000+" with no context. The truth is that vehicle wrap costs depend on three factors: vehicle size, material grade, and how much of the vehicle you're covering. Here's a realistic breakdown based on the projects we produce at our Irvine facility.
These ranges assume a full wrap using premium cast vinyl (3M or Avery Dennison) with professional design and 3M Certified installation:
| Vehicle Type | Full Wrap | Partial Wrap / Spot Graphics | |---|---|---| | Sedan or SUV | $2,500 – $4,000 | $800 – $2,000 | | Cargo Van (Sprinter, Transit) | $3,500 – $5,500 | $1,500 – $3,000 | | Box Truck (16-26 ft) | $4,000 – $7,000 | $2,000 – $4,000 | | Food Truck | $5,000 – $8,000 | $2,500 – $5,000 | | Semi-Trailer (53 ft) | $6,000 – $10,000+ | $3,000 – $6,000 |
We've wrapped everything from HVAC service vans with branded spot graphics to NOS Energy Drink's full 53-foot semi-trailers. The price difference between a $3,000 van wrap and a $10,000 trailer wrap comes down to square footage of material and installation complexity — not markup.
Design complexity. A simple logo and phone number on a solid-color background costs less to produce than a full photographic wrap with gradients, multiple brand elements, and custom illustration. Our design services start at $500 for layout adaptations and go up for original concepts.
Material grade. This is where most shops cut corners. We use 3M IJ180Cv3 or Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film — cast vinyl that conforms to curves, rivets, and corrugations without cracking. Cheaper calendered vinyl costs 30-40% less but has a 1-3 year lifespan vs. 5-7 years for cast. See our cast vs calendered vinyl comparison for the full breakdown.
Vehicle condition. Rust, dents, or peeling clear coat require surface prep before wrapping. Minor prep is usually included; major bodywork is quoted separately.
Coverage percentage. A "full wrap" covers every painted surface. A "partial wrap" covers specific panels (sides, rear, hood). Spot graphics (logo + text) are the most affordable option while still making your vehicle a mobile billboard.
Every vehicle wrap quote from Focus Graphics includes:
We don't quote one price and then add fees for design, laminate, or installation. The number we quote is the number you pay.
For fleets of 5+ vehicles, we offer volume pricing that reduces per-vehicle cost through batch production. We've managed fleet rollouts for brands like Clutter (box truck fleet) — check out our fleet wrap playbook for how we coordinate multi-vehicle projects without taking trucks off the road longer than necessary.
Every vehicle is different, so the ranges above are guidelines — not guarantees. Contact us with your vehicle type, desired coverage, and timeline, and we'll have a detailed quote back to you within 24 business hours.
